Ø Pangot is a birding paradise enscosed amidst a forsted area that offers magnificent views of

Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury, the main habitats for wildlife. The stay at a quaint eco-lodge called Jungle Lore Birding Lodge, is also a highlight of this sleepy hamlet.

Ø Mukteshwar is a sleepy little hill hamlet perched atop a 5 Km long ridge at a height of approx. 8000Ft ASL. From Mukteshwar you would get to experience panoramic views of the deep valleys, sunrise / sunset and the great Himalayan Range. Mukteshwar is famous for it’s natural beauty, rich bird life, scenic views, forest and village treks, bon-fire evenings, dense deodar and silver oak forests, day excursions to neighbouring steams and waterfalls.

The historic hamlet of Abbott Mount was founded by and named after Mr. John Harold Abbott, an English businessman who wanted to develop a hill station for the European community in the 20th century. There are only thirteen secluded cottages spreads over this private hill. There is a picturesque church set amidst the forest and an ancient cricket pitch with an unsurpassed view of the mountains. This is an ideal destination to relax and connect with nature. For those seeking adventure, there is an opportunity to experience a thrilling rafting from Rameshwar to Pancheshwar on river Saryu very close to Abbott Mount.

Ø Munsyari is hidden away amongst the mountains in India's border district of Pithoragarh at a height of 7000 feet . This Himalayan settlement is probably the closest you can get to experience the Greater Himalayas from hand shaking distance. At Munsyari you have the majestic Panch Chulli peak looming all of 22600 feet right in front of you. This last outpost in Kumaon is the gateway to the famous Milam and Ralam glaciers. It is also your only access to one of India's highest mountain - Nanda Devi East (7434 mt). The valley is dotted by several beautifully laid out hamlets with a cultural lifestyle steeped in traditional Hinduism. Jageshwar’s ancient 8th -12th century Shiva temples. Counted among the 12 Jyotirlings in the country, Jageshwar lies in a beautiful narrow valley hedged by monarch-sized, ancient deodars. Exquisite ancient ruins, beautiful Himalayan vistas, gurgling stream nearby, Jageshwar offers a great spiritual retreat .

Ø Ranikhet, on a clear day , offers one of the most breathtaking views of the entire range from Chaukhamba, Neel Kanth, Hathi Parvat, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, to Panchchuli and Appi (Annapurna) peaks. You pass through small Kumaoni villages, where you can see simple hill folks indulge in their everyday household chores, thrashing wheat or taking their sheep for grazing.

Ø The famous Corbett Tiger Reserve needs hardly an introduction . Enjoying jeep safaris or an elephant ride for tiger and other wildlife viewing birding around the area early in the morning are some of the several possibilities that could be experienced while spending two nights at the Tiger Camp resort
